Why do I keep getting "Login failed. Unable to connect to a stimulator." every time I try to login?

All I remember was getting logged out when the sim I was on said it went down. Do you think that's why I can't login?

Possibly.  Have you tried to log in to a different sim?  Try logging in someplace nice and quiet like Smith or Pooley.  If that works, then TP to wherever you wanted to go.

On your login screen, to the right of your name, there's a box that indicates where you want to log in to.   It normally says "Last Location."   Click the drop down menu and then type the name of a different sim in the obvious spot.

Incidentally, you are not alone.  LL's grid status log indicates that they arer rolling back servers on Magnum sims, so they will be off line temporarily.

Sounds like router issues.  Are you able to connect to any sim?  Also, when replying, reply to the post, don't edit the question.

There's no way an OP can reply to the post except by editing his question. We always have to explain that the OP has to click the Options link in the question and then choose Edit to add more information or reply to one of our posts. Blame this crazy software.

Fortunately, LL is finished with rolling back the Magnum servers, so the OP and all the others who were having this problem earlier today are back to normal.

That's funny, you just did it the same way they could: Either clicking on the reply from email or using the permalink to open the answer, then post a comment to that answer.

Yeah, but thanks to this goofy software, nobody ever sees these comments unless they think to click on "Permalink". If you just open the thread, you never know that there are comments lurking here. If the OP does this, any added information is effectively invisible. It really stinks, but the only way to be sure that people can all see what the OP is writing is to amend the original post. We've been complaining about this for months, but it looks like we're stuck with it.
