Major Grid Outage or complete 2.8.3 weirdness

From where I sit, looks like every mainline sim is down.  Only the sims running RC code are accessible to me.  And this is not just teleporting.  I'm looking at water where sims ought to be.  But nothing on the grid status and no reports here in the forums.

Seems like I've entered the SL Twilight Zone :smileysurprised:

Anyone else seeing this or am I on my own here??

Dumb question...how do you tell if a sim is not running RC code? I've TPd around a lot to see if I get the same result you do, and everything's been fine. The sims I visited were on Blue Steel, Magnum, and Second Life Server.

The ones that just say Second Life Server followed by a version number are the Main server channel.  Don't know what the weirdness was last night, but everything is normal again this morning.

I'm just going to chalk it up to an alien abduction and not worry about it. :smileyvery-happy:

i believe they have a red haze over them if they are down..if they are down long enough they won't even show on the next mapping of the grid..
