I've logged in an even created an avatar. But now I can't find it... help!

I have already created my avatar. I logged out a few hours ago and when I logged back in, I can't find my avatar or even where I was when I first logged in...any hints?

Ummmm.. That's hard to do.  When you log in, wherever you are.... you're there.  You can't get separated from your avatar.  SL is an egocentric world.  You always default to seeing it through your own eyes.  (Or actually, from about 2m behind and slightly above your head.)  So, what DO you see when you log on?

You can add information to your post by clicking on the Options link in its upper right corner and selecting Edit.
