Check your transaction history: my marketplace > order history. See if the item is marked delivered, pendant for delivery or failed.

Items are usually delivered maximum 8 hours after the purchase. If you didnt get your item by then, copy/paste your transaction number into a notecard and/or IM (some merchants prefer notes, others prefer IMs, look at the merchant's profile), explain there was a delivery failure and ask politely for redelivery.

Check carefully your recent items in your inventory before sending the note. Also make sure you are inworld, if possible, when the item is delivered to you and that you are not in busy mode.
