I've having trouble buying L$.

Question

I log into the market place, click on the Buy L$ in the upper right corner, put in the amount I want out of what I have, then click purchase and it gives me this error: 

 



We are unable to complete your request.

Could not charge account.
The system encountered an error while processing your order, please try again.

 

 

I've tried multiple times on multiple different days

As long as you have L$ available on your account, there is really no need to purchase more unless you plan to spend more than you have already.  The link on MP takes you to the Linden Exchange, where one would normally purchase L$.   As long as your account is associated with a credit card or Paypal, you should be good to go.

If the system is not recognizing the payment information that you provided when you registered, then you should get in touch with LL's billing office to find out what the problem is.

I am having the same problem. I just purchased L$ on the 13th. I bought a few things and decided to buy something else and didn't quite have enough. I tried to buy more L$ and it gave me this error:

 

Your Linden Dollar Order

We were unable to fulfill your Linden Dollar order.
Your payment either failed or took too long to complete. If your payment completes, the amount will be placed on your USD account balance. This balance will be used automatically the next time you attempt a purchase.



I know that I have money in my account, and I just used my payment info on the 13th! I have tried this a few times, a couple days in a row, and always the same error. Also, there has been no credit to my USD Account Balance. I don't think it's even charging my account.

LL had a problem with its billing system this weekend that has now been fixed.  If you are still having dificulty, call their billing office.
