ALL of my stuff is gone!

I got a new computer, installed the viewer, and logged in.  All my stuff is gone, clothes, weapons, space craft, cars, etc.  I paid for a lot of this stuff and want to get it back.  How can I do that?  I no longer have access to my old computer.

Are you in Basic mode in Viewer 2.x? That crippled newbie mode can't see inventory.

At login, make sure you select Advanced, then quit and log in again. Then you ahould see your inventory normally again.

Ceera has the right answer.  (I don't know why LL ever thought the Basic mode was a smart idea.)  If you still don't see your inventory after logging in with Advanced mode, though, don't panic.  All you have to do is clear your cache and then log in at a nice, lag-free sim like Smith, or Pooley.  Open your inventory and type any letter in the search field to jump start the rebuilding process.  Then go out for coffee while it does its job. It can take a while, but you should end up with a clean locally cached copy of your inventory.
