Nacy Nightfire Posted August 12, 2011 Share Posted August 12, 2011 Autodesk has unleashed a (so far) free sculpting app for the Ipad called 123D Sculpt. And it's funnnn. But there is no export option which makes it a bit of a demo. HOWEVER you can save snapshots which means if you fall in love with your creation, you can take a number of snapshots at all angles and process them thru one of the free websites that convert images to 3D. Hooten Haller Posted February 21, 2013 Share Posted February 21, 2013 I gave 123D Creature a quick try. It looks like a fun way to sketch an avatar idea. It can now support some kind of exporting, but I haven't tried that. Do I need to make sure my creature has the same skeleton (joint tree) as the basic LL avatar? If 123D isn't enough a time-suck try the free IPad app TreeSketch2. It exports as fbx, but you can get a free fbx converter from the autodesk website for both the PC and the Mac. Have fun!
