That's some bizarre HTML.

I'm not familiar with the 'frame' or 'rules' attributes inside of <table...>. I can't imagine them doing anything to the layout of your tables.

The <colgroup> tag seems unusual to me too.

All you need in a HTML table is <table>, <tr> and <td> tags.  (I'm unsure how much experience you have with HTML)

 

Try simplifying them a little? It's likely Lithium doesn't like one or more of those unusual elements.

'style' attributes allow people to input CSS to make HTML-based elements look better. It's likely these commands are disabled in the forum to prevent people abusing CSS tricks (hiding elements, backgrounds), and standardise the forum's layout.
