Question

I have tried to load SL Viewer 2 and it loads and delivers normal screens EXCEPT IN CHINESE.  I have tried over a dozen times at different days and times over span of 2 months.  I click on English EVERYWHERE possible.  There appears no "change language" command in the final window....nor anywhere else.

I know China is taking over the world, but must it do so in SL, also?

The change language button is in your preferences > general. You have to quit and relog to make the change effective.

If it still does not work, delete your current viewer (including your cache files :

and download a fresh version.

after reading your other threads about this; i'd go with a different viewer. you mention that you do have firestorm (http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Everything-Else/I-use-Firestorm-In-Search-how-to-get-a-TP-from-a-panel/qaq-p/1017165) and from what i understand that one's not in chinese. am i right? firestorm is very similar to v2, and if v2 is giving you this much headache (like the fear of the chinese is taking over the world :D) (sorry) i'd go with a different viewer. at least until you can find a reason for this language trouble. which, i am sorry to say i have no clue why is happening.
