Tommy Rampal
I'm unsure if this is an expected issue adjacent to some of the other issues going on, but I cannot save any form of script. It just doesn't save; I try to make changes to an existing or new script, and I never receive the 'Save Complete' dialog. If I reopen the script, the changes remain and 'Running' and 'Mono' are unticked. Can anyone elaborate on this?
Eathon Sands
I'm sorry by poor English. I have the same experience before. What to do if it is shown below. 1. "Viewer" Clearing the cache files. 2. "SIM" Restarting. 3. "Viewer" cache file "Change Destination". (Default) Solved the above. When it is not same "Case", I dont Know.
Eathon Sands
Postscript I'm sorry by poor English. > 'Running' and 'Mono' are unticked. In the above case, there is an error in the script "compile" has not been possible. (Hence the "Save" can not be). "External Editor" may be better to first check the syntax of the script. Tommy Rampal
They compile fine, I edit the default script; changing "Hello Avatar!" to something different, (e.g. "Hello"), and it just doesn't save... I was able to save in a different sim, so maybe it's a region problem?
Eathon Sands
I'm sorry by poor English. Maybe, I think the problem in the region. When you compile the script, "PC" and "simulator" that would not be consistent state of the cache files between. (Upload a script, for the verification) ** I'm sorry when wrong. Void Singer
this is usually a region problem that goes away on it's own... in the meantime copy the text of the script, and try to save it to one opened from inventory or move to another region and save from there. Smoothie Perl
I'm familiar with this issue. Try to clear your cache and ask a SIM reboot from LL(if it is your home region). It will be solve your problem tho
Nalates Urriah
As pointed out the problem can be a corrupt file in the cache. Otherwise the problem is either a connection issue or an SL server issue. Check that your not having a transient connection problem by opening the viewer stats, Ctrl-Shift-1 (toggle). Continuing Packet Loss above 0% can be a problem. I write scripts in LSLEditor. So, it is easy for me to jump to another region and try saving the script again. I've often seen this problem using Imprudence in OSGrid. I could change viewers and clear the problem for a time. It would return after several changes to the script. Changing back to Imprudence would then clear the problem for a time. It may have been just logging on and off was providing a temporary fix.
