Avatar issues...or something

I am not new to SL but don't know much about how the scripts/viewers work and what have you.  I use a third party viewer.  I was using Emergence but when I logged in the other day I honestly looked like a floating dead girl.  I am hunched over, with my arms hanging, and I am floating.

OK, so I downloaded the Phoenix viewer and the same thing except this time it also had my avatar wearing some clothing items I wasn't supposed to be wearing.

Anyhow, so I have taken off my AO, put it back on, and it will make it to where I don't look like a floating dead girl, BUT I cannot walk around because it keeps the cursor in the chat bar!  As long as it keeps that cursor is there I cannot move, well, with my arrow keys.  I am at a loss...any ideas what is wrong and what I can do to fix this?

hmmm, i am not an expert either, but do you regularly clear you cache and inventory cache? try it

When you installed Phoenix, did you put the cache areas in a folder separate from your Emergence cache?  It sounds like you did not if you were wearing some clothing you were not supposed to be wearing.

Whenever you install a different viewer, that viewer should have it's own cache area.

Close the chat bar and see if you can move.

It sounds like you are wearing an object that makes you float.  Click your worn items tab in your inventory and remove each object until they are all off.  Then, put one on at a time.  You should be able to find the offending item that way.
