Is there some thing wrong with sl it keep crashing when i try to log in i even place i know is not busy on the start point

Common things to fix this are:

 

• Log into another region
• Turn down your graphics settings
• Turn off voice and media
• Clear your cache
• Reset your Broadband modem and router
• Remove all scripted attachments

If these fail, I would contact support

/Agrees... check the attachments.. currently wearing only 9 sxripted items.. Sundays can get pretty laggy.. Also run a lite viwer.. (currently running hippo) Tho hippo has issues, I still can go to most busy sims

Glad you got on.

There are numerious reasons a person cannot get into SL or the viewer crashes. To know what the possiblities are, we need to know more about your system. So, next time open the viewer and before you login open Help->About and copy that information to paste into your question here.

As a for instance, users of the nVidia GTX 460 with the latest drivers and a graphics setting above Medium crash after login regardless of viewer used. See: nVidia Driver GTX 460 Problems. So, the answer if you had a 460 would be different than if you didn't.

It's more than just the 460, i've been testing higher and lower cards with the linden working on that case, gDEBugger is showing the issue on several different cards/setups (sli or not)
