If your in a laggy sim they may undrender but there is nothing to be worried about but also not much you can do about it, if your that bothered go to Prefernces>Graphics then select high however this will slow your sl experience down

It is happening at all setting levels even low and when you zoom out just a very little. Add pictures to the OP look at the shoes.

LOD too low? Check debug settings for RenderVolumeLODFactor.

That little bit at the tip of your shoes?  That an LOD issue.  If you are using the Firestorm viewer, click the Quick Preferences button on your lower taskbar and set the LOD factor higher.... to something like 3.5 .  If you are using any other viewer, you can make the same change by opening your Advanced menu (CTRL + Alt + D) and then the Debug Setting window.  Type RenderVolumeLODFactor to open the window for that setting and change the number there.

That's because it has nothing to do with lag. It's an LOD issue. See the answer that the OP accepted, above.
