i am trying to transfer an sl texture to my photo album on my computer, there is no save as

i am trying to bring a texture from my texture folder in sl,,, to my photo folder on my computer,,, can someone tell me how to do that... i was told to click save as on the texture,,, there is no save as on sl textures

To export a testure from SL to your hard disc you have to have full permission (copy/mod/transfer) to that texture. Are you sure you have full perm?

Double click on the texture and it will open a new window and one of the choices is Save As.  Likewise if you right click on the texture, Save As is one of the menu choices.  You can only download full perm textures, the Save As will be greyed out if the texture cannot be downloaded.

Those are the instructions for the current V2.  If you are using the 1.23 viewer, you open the texture and then use the Save in the File menu (I think....its been a long time since I ran 1.23 and I don't keep a copy on my system anymore for testing due to the cache problem)

And if you are running a different viewer all together, edit your post and add which viewer you are using and I'm sure someone will come along with an answer.

This can be done with special viewers.Your looking for an "export" feature.

In the future save all textures to your PC by default that way you can avoid this hassle. The "save as" function in the aceptance HUD after you take the snap.; it's there.
