why cany i allow my alt to modify my objects

Your alternate account is just that, an alternate account. In order for it to be able to do anything, you either have to set permissions through a group or the object itself, as if your alternate account was a separate entity from yourself.

Oh, maybe its the bug where you have to unfriend your friend (alt) then refriend them again before setting permissions, and something about logging out and logging back in also.

The fix for the permissions bug is now active on all sims on RC BlueSteel.

Type BlueSteel into your Map & go to any of the BlueSteel sandboxes and you will be able to change perms there.

Hopefully the fix will be rolled out over the entire grid next week.
