I roleplay on different sims and used /2/me for emotes but now it doesn't show up in local

Well  /me is the proper way to do an emote.   /2/me would put the emote on chat channel 2 and would not be seen in local chat.  Try using just    /me

/me is currently broken in some viewers so that is likely the problem if the "/me" still doesn't work for you. LOTs of issues with viewers of late .
