Question

Is there any way to be afk for long periods of time? i tried everything i just keep logging out and i'm not sure if I want to buy an anti idle hud. I ask this because I work at a store as A model, and i want to get hours in while i'm asleep or taking care of business in rl.  Oh i forgot to add that i don't use the secondlife viewer I mostly use Phoenix viewer or Firestorm

You can set yourself to busy never.

You also must set your computer to not log you off or go into standby mode.

In second life it is Me > Preferences > General > Away Time Out > Never

In your computer, well depends on your computer, but its most likely in your control panel under settings or power or something.

"anti idle devices" are, dare i say it, a scam. don't fall for it.

when i was new, way back when (4th rez day today btw \o/), i thought the only option was to get one of them, and i think i also had to join a group in order for it to work, or something, my memory fails me atm. i think it's really low, scamming money out of people for basic functions that are available for everyone. :smileymad:

follow advice already given. this does not have to cost money.
