SLV 2 will not run on my 64 bit Windows 7

I am running Windows 7 64-bit and I have downloaded the Second Life Viewer 2 and it will not run.

There are lots of third party viewers to choose from that have no problem with Win7 - 64 (which I have). I have used most of them with success. Currently on Firestorm.

 

Try one of those and it may work better.

Well i use Windows 7 64 bit and viewer 2 at all computers and it works.

All other viewer works with Win7 64 bit too (phoenix, firestorm, kirstens and so on...)

maybe you have to update your grafics-driver and other drivers like mainboard too.

It's also good for playing SL to install quicktime for different media ingame and flashplayer.

Very few people have had problems with Windows 7 running the SL viewer. I have been using the 64 bit version of windows 7 since it came out with no problems what-so-ever. (As an aside, windows 7 might be M$'s best OS to date. I have used four of their OS's with SL.). Something else is causing the problem. I would look here.
