I have been a member of Second Life for almost 2 years now and just upgraded my account to Premium in May this year and I have yet to receive my sign up bonus. Anyone else have this problem?

You should look over your Transactions page closely to make sure you didn't miss it, then contact customer support if you can't find any evidence of it.  I signed my alt up for a Premium account in June & she received her bonus in July.

Go to this page  & follow the instustuctions.

The support ticket page is found by clicking the Help tab at the top of the main page, then following the steps there. LL tries to get users to  look for answers to their problems in the FAQs pages & such, but you should probably skip all that at this point & just file a case ticket.

Worth remembering that it isnt related to avatar age, but is measured in days from the upgrade. I`m not sure if it applies in this situation, but it did puzzle me when i went over my time, only to realise that i was freebie for about 2 weeks before i upgraded.

When you go Premium, you get $L 300/ week, either a free Linden house or 512m of tier that you can apply to land you buy, & $L 1000 after you've been Premium for 45 days. If you choose to pay annually, the package deal almost pays for itself. The only serious drawback is that if you don't pay your fees on time, LL can & will lock you out of your account until you pay up.

and if your account is pre 2006 then yearly usually does pay for itself, with the 400$L/week or higher stipend, this account for instance receives 500$L/week, and did not go premium until about a year ago.

ETA:
please note that if the account ever went premium in the past and then canceled it, it loses the old rate, and can only get the current one.

Psst Void, I know it says that, but its not actually true. I  heard of people going back to basic and upgrading again later & still getting their original stipend level, so I tested it and same happened to me. :)

Did you get a 2nd bonus? I don't think I did, so I assumed its a one off thing.

It's also worth noting that (i think) the bonus only applies if you are a brand new premium member. In other words, if you have been a premium member before, but downgraded to basic at some point and are now going premium again, you won't get the bonus (but you will still get the weekly stipend).

really? interesting..... I wonder if that would apply to accounts that you closed completely.... maybe it'd be worth pulling my original account out of LL mothball fleet to try.
