Hey everyone :matte-motes-big-grin:

Just a really quick question.

I currently have a parcel of land which is around 5000m2 (can't remember exact size as I have divided it up) on which I have built a relail plaza that I am about to open.

Thing is, I just stumbled across a parcel which is double the size, for a really good price! Buying this parcel as well would take me into the $125/month tier, but I'd really like to stay in the $75/month tier where possible.

So, would I need to clear and sell the current land before buying the new land to stay in my chosen tier - and if so is there any way to save the current build and just transfer it over once I have secured the new land?

Thanks in advance,

Whenever I have to move a lot of stuff and don't want to have to place it again, I rez a cube in the middle of it and name it so I know what it is later, then select all of it at once by drawing a box around it. A straight down view helps here. Make sure the cube is the last thing selected by deselecting and selecting it individually before taking. When I get to the new place (and this part is vital for your sanity) I open the Edit window (Ctrl+3) and rez the coalesced object I picked up at the old place. Since the Edit window is already open, you can then slide it around however you need to.

If the two places are close enough together, you can just drag it all from one place to the other, but that can be a pain - sometimes stuff falls out at sim borders.

I would do the same as Gryphon.

As for the land, if you don`t want to pay the higher tier for a month, then yes you would have to sell the old land before buying the new one. The other alternative is to abandon or sell at such a low price that you get an instant sale, but I have seen your land and its too big too really do that because it would be a waste of money and would wipe out the value of the bargain you say you are getting with the new one.

Do the math and see which way saves the most money, because the higher tier is not cheap either.
