Hi, Christopher.   The best way to learn scripting I can think of is to have a simple project in mind that you want to do anyway -- I got started because I wanted to be able to make stuff change texture and colour and transparency .   If there's something you want to do, we'll be happy to help you with it.

The info there will alsp point to the hobo kits I have out on Cookie sim.  They have simple scripted objects, full perm so you can take them apart an see how they work.
