Basic mode to advanced makes Ruth appear?

I have noticed that when new avatars switch from Basic Mode to Advanced they often appeared "ruthed" to me as a result of the switch. Is it me or  are others seeing this and what can we do to help? [note I am still using V1.23.5]

I haven't noticed that but I use V2 beta and Kirstens. However, my gf gave up using 1.23.5 recently because avatars were appearing ruthed more often than usual necessitating a relog to see them rezzed properly. This was a viewer 1.23.5 issue, nothing to do with her computer or the other avatars. Every time she logged in, she'd say I was ruthed, she'd relog and I was fine. After using V1 for 7 years, she eventually and very reluctantly gave it up and switched to Firestorm.
