You, as an individual, probably cannot tell if anyone has attempted to log into your account besides yourself.  LL might not be able to tell either.  LL can tell if someone logged into your account but whether or not it was you or someone else, I don't think they can tell.  If anyone signs into your account using the proper password, no matter what IP address the user was logging in from, is going to get access.........otherwise you could only log in when at your real life "home" location (that would mean you could not log in from your work location or while you were on vacation or otherwise away from your "home" location).  As mentioned, change your password immeditately.  If you believe an attempt has been made file a support ticket stating such and all the "evidence" you might have (which will be conjecture at best) but at least you have a report on record.

Protect your password with you life..........and change often.  Don't create easy to guess passwords.  Just like anything else on the Internet, you have to be very weary of anybody you meet or interact with.  Common sense (or even paronoina) is very much in order.

Sooooo --

The only way someone could log in as you would be to have your password. Hopefully you didn't give out your password. If you did, they could log into your account and change the password so YOU couldn't get it. This has been reported here. So DON'T SHARE YOUR PASSWORD except perhaps with spouses or someone you would give up your life for (not kidding here).

The only real way you could know if they got in (rather than just threatening to) would be if you in alt form saw them in world. So do you actually know they ARE "you" or did they just threaten (a big difference)?

Any way you look at it, your very first step as mentioned by others is to CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD in your dashboard. Also change any security questions if there are any. Make them hard and make a copy for yourself.  Second is to mute the person harassing you after sending an abuse report in with supporting info.

Good luck.

Even if you have not given anyone else your password, if it is not a strong password, someone may try to guess it based on information you share.  For example, you tell someone that you live in Chicago.  Your password is 'chicago' or 'windycity'...someone may guess that.

The strongest passwords are those that are a mix of letters, numbers and special characters and have no relation to anything you might ever tell anywone.
