I''m pretty sure your account and inventory will be there next year too. As far as I know there is no 'expiration date' on a SL account.

Your english is fine, btw. You can, if you feel more comfortable, ask in french. Plenty of people around here speak french, so you should get the same answers anyway.

You can login occasionally to your account on the website & check that it is still active & if it is a Premium account you can also downgrade to basic from there too if you want to. It is also possible now to put messages on your friends profiles to let them know where you went if you want to, though remember that they are not private messages. If your friends use these forums, you can send private messages to them through here.

If it was a free account.  It will not expire.  If it is a premium account and it is still active but you cannot use it right now, I recommending scaling it back to a free account.  That free account will never expire and it makes no sense to pay for a premium account that you can't use.
