LL "can" do anything, whether or not they will do it is another matter entirely.   If you close an account it is your responsibility to send any objects or money to another account if you want to, before you close the account.

You can submit a ticket to reactivate an old account, but if it was an account deleted by the user there is a $9,95 charge to get it back, so unless there is a substantial amount of money on the account it may not be worth the cost.

EDIT: If the account has only just been closed, then it can be reactivated free of charge.
