I've noticed that since about two months ago with all these rediculous "updates" to the SL view (i.e microsoft) that I can no longer have Ultra settings. I have been able to max everything in the past when it comes to graphics but now, when I try, SL viewer crashes ALL THE TIME! I'm sick of all these "updates" that apparently have not been tested before release. Sound familiar? SL get your s*hit together B4 you send an update. I'm tired of looking at SL in "high" I WANT ULTRA!!!

The new viewers add more detail then ever. They have added Real Time Shadows and Shaders plus Depth of Field Settings. It could be you are using an older graphics card that does not support these new features. With how fast computers are evolving in this day and age a graphics card is considered old after 3 to 5 years.

Go ahead and rage because we all know getting angry and blaming someone else in poorly spelled txtspk without any technical details, information about what might have changed since it last worked as expected, and what options that compose the default Ultra and High on your system is absolutely the best and easiest way to diagnose, troubleshoot or fix what's going on.  Doing stuff like posting your system configuration as it appears in About Second Life, a copy of your secondlife.ini and secondlife.log, a description of what exactly is going wrong, and a description of what you expected won't be useful at all.

If you can't tell that was sarcasm, then just forget the whole thing; you're better off sending your computer back to the manufacturer for a refund.
