how do i get lindens back from someone who stole after i report them?

A couple weeks ago i reported this guy M51 Neox that stole 4k ls from me after selling me land that didnt belong to him he told me he worked for the realestate company that the land belonged to he was an agent and i checked his tag said he was apart of the Real Estate company.. What im wondering is how do i check on the status of that report and if anyone knows if LL will give me the lindens i lost

When you file an AR, you will get an acknowledgement from LL but you will never know the outcome.  LL will do their investigation and decide what sanction is appropriate, but that's a private matter between them and the person. 

Don't expect LL to give you any money.  That's a private matter between you and the other person, so LL doesn't owe you anything.  (Sort of like RL.  If the police arrest some bandit who took your money, the police aren't responsible for paying you back.)  Sorry.
