need help on how to cancel my merchant account on marketplace! anyone can give me some help?

I accidentaly created a merchant account on the marketplace while going through the process of reading on how to create an account as a merchant, but now i cant find useful and practical info that can help me revoke or cancel the account, since i havent uploaded any item there neither sold anything, i have looked all around in the info available but none refer on how i can possibly cancel the merchant account on the marketplace. Thanks in advance for whoever can provide me some help to this.

AFAIK, you can't close a merchant account. As I understand it all you have done by creating the account is add an additional attribute to your SL account. 

If you don't plan to market anything, just forget about it.

Having an account doesn't cost you anything, and you don't need to use it if you don't have anything to sell.
