Why is everything black, all my prims like trees,houses,waterfalls all black what do I do?

This is a bug in the current version of LL's V2 viewer.  See https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-26325? .  You can solve it apparently by turning off basic shaders in Preferences >> Graphics.  Other than that temporary fix, you have only three choices:

1.  Uninstall the current version and re-install a previous version (available at http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Category:Release_Notes).  Be sure to turn off the auto download updates option in preferences to keep LL from forcing download of the later version again.

2. Install a third party viewer like Firestorm  >>> http://www.phoenixviewer.com/.

3.  Wait for the next version of LL's V2.  Apparently the bug is fixed in the beta 2.8, so there's hope that the final release will be OK.
