"Real Life" courses have been taught in part through second life for many years. In fact, one of my oldtimer friends found second life just that way. She took an audit course available to anyone that wanted to join from Harvard Law. She became enthused and told others and they told others and along the way someone told me *wink*.

Teaching is much easier now than way back then as the interface has improve many times over, there is now voice and WINDLIGHT (yeah). There are many schools and educational centers in Second Life, teaching everything from philosophy to in world skills.  Many colleges maintain a presence here.  So jump in and explore. Make a plan. Get your class approved from your real life powers that be and join in.

If you need a space to teach there are many public areas maintained by Linden Labs. It is also very likely that one of the existing schools or colleges would let you have space to use. After all, it is about learning.
