Tesla Kuhn Posted July 24, 2011 Share Posted July 24, 2011 I searched on this and cannot seem to find any answers here or on google (I googled thinking someone had a blog or a fan site or wiki with a similar experience). I may be using wrong keywords. My problem is more like a short story, so please forgive me.I recently started playing SL after a long pause. I had a lot going on RL so it was necessary. I came back and was informed version 1 was no longer in use. The other viewer I had been using was also no longer around. So I downloaded version 2 and also the viewer all my friends happen to be using.So I started downloading and was shopping on the marketplace in the meantime, knowing I was going to look a little old school. When I entered the grid, I had a zillion messages and such. I am unfamiliar with the new layout, etc. So I tried to pay attention what I was clicking on, but I am afraid I may have blocked one of the merchants I had purchased an item from.He was kind enough to enter SL to redeliver the item, but it still never showed in my inventory. I also made an inworld purchase at his store to see if I was imagining things. I am wondering how to unblock an avatar. I did put in a support ticket over a week ago but apparently there are others in front of me in line. If anyone knows how to check who is blocked and how to remove that block, or how to check for items (perhaps by creator name?) that were never delivered though the system says they were, please inform me.Thank you so very much for your time. CaptianMidget Parnass Posted July 24, 2011 Share Posted July 24, 2011 find a random object and block/mute it. That sould bring up your mute/block list. You can find the name of the person your looking for and unblock/unmute them. Once that is done you can check in their store and see if they have a re-delievery terminal. Copy/paste your transactions numbers into a notecard and send it to the merchant explaining you accidentally discarded the item on delivery, and ask politely for redelivery. In all cases, NEVER fill your cart as the more items bought at the same time, the more delivery failures you get. Buy one by one and try to be inworld at the moment you purchase.
