Are you sure you clicked "accept" when the item was delivered? If you accidentally clicked "discard", then the item is lost and you will have to go through all the process again with the merchant.

Better make sure you are online and not set busy or absent when the item is delivered.

Val's right.  If you are offline or set to BUSY, the system may refuse to deliver items.  They are not held for later ... they just vanish.
