Help SecondLife Error

I play SL a long time after I stopped playing I am back now but whenI downloaded the SL again what is available on the site, the following error occurs:

How old is your PC? Starting with Version 2.7, the official viewer from LL requires your CPU to have the SSE2 feature set.

Had the same error as you, but after snooping around, i found a viewer which works if you only have SSE, and not the required SSE2 (which is probably the cause of the error)

At the bottom of that page is a list of obsolete and obscure versions. Pick This one:

 

Singularity Viewer 1.5.4 Setup (Windows, Athlon XP SSE special)

 

That did the trick for me.
