Take a look at the instructions that came with it.  I have never had the urge to try a Meero myself, but if it's much harder than dragging the thing from inventory and rezzing it on the ground, I'd be surprised.  Anyway, the merchant's instructions will tell you.

I only know about bunnies where you click, tell them to birth and wait an hour.

From researching it appears that you rez the "nest" and then touch it and choose coax from a menu (maybe a right click?).  It sounds like they appear much quicker than bunnies did.
