It all depends on how the script is written, so there's no way to tell without seeing it.  Many contest boards are meant to accept votes in the form of L$.  That is, donate L$1 and you have cast one vote.  There should be a sign with instructions nearby, though.  If there isn't, ask someone who looks like she belongs there.

Boards can all be different so if you are having trouble im the creator or the owner/manager of the contest they will certainly be able to help you
