I placed an item on the ground on my land, it never rezzed and has yet to return to my inventory?

I purchased the new Limited Edition RFL horse. I went to my land and placed it on the ground to rez the bundle. It never appeared and has yet to be returned to my inventory. I contacted Linden Labs and they told me since I do not have a premium subscription even though I put money in the game all the time and own a piece of land they can not help me at all. What do I do? That horse was $1,100L, it's not fair I have to just lose my horse because I don't pay an extra $10 a month for a premium subscription.

It sounds like an asset server issue that might be cleared up if the owner of your sim were to restart it.  You might ask.

Spending a lot of L$ on horses and land rental, unfortunately, doesn't make you a Premium member, and Live Chat is only available to Premium and Concierge members.  It's one of the few really decent perks of upgrading.
