How to rezz when you rent an apartment

I rented an apartment and I am wondering how to rezz my furniture. Every time I try, it tells me that the owner doesn't allow it. How do I fix this?     Thank you.

This may sound silly but make sure you are in the right appartment. If you are sure it is yours, IM the owner asking him to grant you the rights.

Normally you need to have a GROUP TAG on for the group that the apartment is set to. If you "just" rented it may take awhile for the landlord to contact you and invite you to the group. Sometimes you can look in the About Land and find what group the land is set to and then try and find the group.

Most often though you need an invite from some official person. So do a little sleuthing and see if you can figure out the landlord. If there was an info card about the apartment then you can see who wrote that (look at the PROPERTIES of the notecard) and write to them.

 

I know it is frustrating to want to move in and not be able to . Been there a few times. Now I buy. Easier in some ways. Good luck!
