login problem: DNS could not resolve the host name

hello..

i wonder if people ( i mean you actually :) have experienced that kind of problem on my subject.
details should be like this ( and i feel really dummmmm, LoL)

login failed.
DNS could not resolve the host name.
please verify that you can connect to www.secondlife .com website.
if you can, but continue to recieve this error,
please continue to support section and report this problem.

anyone know how to work over this without go to support section, yet ?
some of you might suggest me to just make report  ^_^
but i need how to solve this from my side, anyway possible, before go to that report thing.

If it takes you where I think it does, "the support section" gives you the option of searching for similar problems... from which you could find a possibly helpful result... which links to a possibly helpful wiki page.

I had this problem before and someone suggested to uninstall my anitvirus and change my laptop setting to total administrative control. I did everything he said including reinstalling a different Antivirus. That seemed to work for me.

Add following additional DNS servers to your DNS settings in Network settings under System Preferences:

208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

If this is a windows issue Lindens made a bug report when I posted about it. I have had this issue since version 2.5. I also had it when viewer 2 first came out and a later version somehow fixed the issue and it came back..Changing DNS, flushing DNS nothing helped.
