Can you post your computer specifications please.

I'm running V2 beta now using an ATI Radeon HD 5850 and not seeing any bands as you describe.

What you might try is unchecking Enable OpenGL Vertex Buffer Objects in Preferences > Graphics > Hardware and see if that cures it.

I have it too

Using ans MSI ( ati ) 5850 graphics card.
I see it only when enabling DOF

Its in the original sl viewer, but also in Phoenix Firefox and even Niran's Viewer...

 

Maybe its the OpenGL implementation from ATI / MSI
