There seem to be issues with that latest version of the LL V2 viewer.  Until they are fixed, you are probably best off uninstalling it completely and re-installing the previous version ( available at (http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Release_Notes ) or trying another V2 viewer like Firestorm >>>> http://www.phoenixviewer.com .
