How do i add myself into second life?

My dad when i was a baby had second life and he said he put himself in the game and i see pictures of it on the internet

but i want to put myself into the game please help!

If you are over 13, just go to the main Second Life page and hit the JOIN NOW button. That will take you to a menu where you can choose an avatar and put in your info. You also need to install a viewer in order to connect to second life.

Obviously you have already created an account otherwise you would not be posting here.

All you have to do to join SL is to download a viewer. I recommend you download Firestorm or Phoenix because SL V2 viewer is currently having some trouble:

You will have to login entering 'gamemaster112ful' as first name and 'Resident' as last name, then your password.

When you are logged in, get yourself an avatar (search for free shapes and skins, hair, clothes, anything you need, on the Marketplace:

Sorry, but you need to be 16 years old (13-15 if you're affiliated with a Sponsoring Organization).

If your dad was a SecondLife resident when you were a baby, you're just not old enough (and your Facebook profile confirms it for me).

If someone said they were a "little baby" I think that is younger than 5 years old. If his/her dad was in SL when he/she was a "little baby", it's very likely he/she is younger than even 13 years old. You very likely just told a child under aged for SL how to join.

 

And everyone wonders why some of us were so against LL opening the main grid to minors.

I'd rather see a child in SL exposed to sex (if it is your issue) than in a killl, kill game. Americans should be more relaxed on sex. I have a problem with violennce, not bleeps, excuse my French.

It does not matter what I think, what you think, or even what LL thinks. It's the law in this country. A law that LL has to be concerned with. A law that I, as a US citizen, must be concerned about. And, even if you are a citizen of another country who has a law that is different from the laws of the US you still have to abide by the laws that have jurisdiction over SL...........and that, my friend, is the United States. Anyone under the age of 18 is considered a minor. And a minor cannot, knowingly,be exposed to sexual content by an adult. I'm sorry you don't like the law (hell, I'm not particularly fond of it the way it's written myself).......you still have to abide by it when in SL.
