Question

I was wondering what i needed for a website in order to use my servers and such on a website. I was wondering if i needed certain domain or website plans or not. I can do the premium from godaddy.com, as it has everything i think i could need for simple things i want to use the site for. Just donm't know if there are certain things my website should be able to do for the use of my server to communicate between the website and my items in sl. Sorta like what hippo technologies has going, but simpler..

If anyone could shed some light on this matter i would be greatful.

P.S.  I will be scripting my own website as well.

Unless I'm mistaken, you cannot communicate directly with your listings in Marketplace.  It is possible, however, to write LSL scripts for vendors in an in-world store so that they can communicate with a PHP/MySQL database on your server.  You should study the relevant portions of the LSL wiki To get a feel for the functions involved >>> http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Category:LSL_Communications .
