try character test in advanced menu: character test > male or female.

You will be back to the basic shape and skin. Clear your cache and relog from a safe sim (Simth Aqua or Pooley). Do not move at all untill your inventory is fully loaded (type anything in the inventory search bar to launch it).

You will have to wear again your usual shape and skin (plus hair, eyes, ect). Then you can TP to another region.

Edit: one trick: once you are back to normal, save a back up of your favorite appearance; go to edit appearance, check all the boxes (skin shape, eyes, hair, even clothes) and then click the 'save outfit' button on the bottom left of the window. Name it in a way you can ealisy remember it. it will create a subfolder in our 'clothing' folder so next tilme you crash, you can immediately find your usal 'you'. :smileywink:
