In viewer 2, you have to download a pic from your hard drive, not from your intentory pics. PNG and JPG files are OK.

Firstly, you appear to be using the correct file type, .jpg, and downloading from your harddrive, which is also correct. Now I assume you have tried on a number of occasions to do this and have got the error each time?  SL seems to have periodic glitches where updating profiles are concerned, so sometimes it's worth persisting.

Secondly in may be too large a file to download in the allotted time - you might have a slow connection which will drastically limit your upload speed, or it may simply be that is is a highly detailed and therefore very large file.  You might try compressing it before you send it - that might work.

Since, apparently, v2 restricts you to loading files from your PC (if I read the other answer correctly), you will be limited.  I do not use (yet) a v2 type viewer so I don't know the details.
