You can buy lindens using the exchange you will find on your dashboard in the Linden Exchange section on left.

You can use search on the events tab to join contests that give lindens as prizes

You can get a job - look on the help wanted section here in the forms and the inworld classifieds tab in search

If you are under 30 days old there might be a few money trees still left in the world.  You would search money tree and then tp to the location...search the tree for lindens hiding in the branches.  Only those less than 30 days old can take the money.

There may also be some camping around - again you would use search. Camping just requires you to sit or hang around a particular area to earn small amounts of linden

I do not know what games you are looking for but search is your friend just type in a topic and see what comes up.  You may also want to take some of the free classes you can find in search/events/education

The easiest way to get L$ is to bring money into SL from your credit card or PayPal account.  Almost any of the ways to earn L$ in world require a fair amount of experience or acquired skill in creating things, or they require an investment in time.  A few people are able to make a decent income, but almost all people who are earning money in world could earn a lot more in the same amount of time in RL with a RL job.  We do creative things mostly because that's what we enjoy doing, not because we expect to do much more than break even. 

Fortunately, you don't need much money at all in SL.  There are loads of good-quality clothes and other objects available free in world, and even the most expensive things aren't much more than you'd spend on a cup of coffee and a donut in RL.  LL (and merchants like me) would love to have you support the local economy by spending a bundle every day, but the fact is that you can look great and have fun in SL without spending a penny if you want to.
