I feel like since we are progressing into PBR that clothing designers and others are doing JUST PBR.
It's really leaving out all the people who can't update yet because of how harsh PBR is on some computers.

Yes, I know, it's not your fault people don't have a better computer, but we also know that a lot of people in SL are limited on RL resources and maybe can't afford one right now....

I was told by a couple people, it won't work, one will override the other... well yes, it will, depending on what your viewer will do/see 

I have both Firestorm and Genesis on my PC so I was able to test for myself that you can add both types of textures in the edit panel and people will see things regular like we use to, or if on a PBR viewer will see the new stuff. Meaning people on non PBR viewers don't have to have their SL experience be less appealing since all they will see is bright white all over the place. I switched back and forth from on viewer to the other looking at the person I was testing it with  IT DOES WORK.

it is a choice for each creator to make

we hold ll feet to fire and make them adopt pbr faster instead of years of transit

we can choose to make how we make with least time possible as sl already is custom workflow time sink mostly not worth already

people want pbr workflow from other projects simple to bring in sl

oh did i say yet ll will drag feet and take even longer if creator keep allowing them to

The Kiwi Co. (Formerly Blueberry) makes clothing that looks good with or without PBR. No grey textures if you're not on a PBR viewer.

I'm using the latest FS PBR viewer now, and I like it, except that environments are sometimes too dark. (I'm used to Midday with shadows and water reflections turned off and a slight grey added to my personal lighting.)

Mirrors are cool 😎, though I don't care if all those other reflections are more realistic. A little extra shiny on my clothing, even pre-PBR clothing, is cool too.

None of that is worth people having a reduced ability to use SL though.

I tried to upgrade my FS and I have a gaming laptop, only 2 years old. Started freezing and crashing just on my own platform in the sky. I went back to a non PBR version.
I'm not one to give up I have been in SL to long so I WILL upgrade what's needed to stay but others really just can't. Kinda sad.

I suppose "drag feet" would be a great option for cross-dressers! I bet creators will come out with better drag feet than LL will. Look at Senra as an example.
