I see on the wiki that there are new region options that have been introduced for the new Linden damage, but I can't see them on my own region panel? I'm guessing this hasn't been fully released yet and is only on specific sims?

They are only available through the Region Debug Console. See the Region / Estate menu, go under Debug and click on the last button which is Region Debug Console to open the window for it.

I'll update the wiki page to mention this, forgot to do that.

I'm trying to remember if @Lucia Nightfire, @Qie Niangao, or @Wulfie Reanimator are the ones most often posting in the Combat 2.0 thread and should know.

That would probably be Nexii as I am not as interested in how combat works in SL nor the way it is being further compartmentalized.

I think that with each micro-facet put in place, we're actually pre-establishing standards that stray from what any one particular game operator thinks should be the norm.

In other words, the 2.0 implementation was broad, yet, defined enough to allow creators to establish their own formats/standards.

Every additional inclusion is chipping away at that and counters the initial premise/freedom of what the feature was supposed to afford.

Kind of hard to explain.

IMO, the only thing left we need to explore/implement is collision channels, something every combat/shooter/PvP platform/game has had since the 8-bit era, except SL.
