This problem will repeat and solving it with the new log-on place, preferably a completely empty Linden ocean sim, will not always cure it.

You have to go in and clear cache from the three places in the menu where you can do it, I believe it is under "network".

Then you really have to completely log out, then log back in and watch the viewer load again, making sure it says "clearing cache" -- if it doesn't, close it and try again.

This was a constant nuisance for me on Firestorm and I'm so glad I don't have to use it now and use the regular SL viewer or Alchemy.
