Non-copiable picture in skybox replaced.. artwork has disappeared. How do I get it back?

Sounds like a rollback. You could always IM the creator of the painting and see if they will give you another copy considering the circumstances. But seeing as it was transfer, just no copy... they might not replace it for you because for all they know you could have given/sold it to someone, and wanting another one to do it again. You could also file a report here: https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/  and see if a Linden will help out.
