Tjay Wicken Posted November 18 Posted November 18 The dark theme does not have this issue, so switch to that for now (dropdown at the bottom of the forum). 1 3
JUSTUS Palianta Posted November 19 Posted November 19 Thanks' Tjay I put my browser on dark mode and it didn't change the forum until I did that.
WeFlossDaily Posted November 19 Posted November 19 Dark mode hurts my brain. We should keep making threads about this problem until LL fixes it or sees too it that it gets fixed. 3
JUSTUS Palianta Posted November 19 Posted November 19 (edited) Yep coz even though they pretend that this is not the place to complain, if we complain loud enough they hear us . 😛  I stopped reading the forum for a couple a days the double bubbles hurt my brain more then dark mode. I guess that's what LL wants to just drive everyone away! rasterscan Posted November 19 Posted November 19 Never say never mind. Tips / info can still be handy 20 years on ! Anyway, heres a fix IF using Chrome with ublock origin extension added : via Inari Ichibara: If you have an Adblocker, you can add this as a custom filter as a workaround: community.secondlife.com##* > .ipsResponsive_showPhone.cAuthorPane_mobile Chrome users with ublock origin extension: Ublock origin > settings cogwheel > My Filters > copy/paste that (* html ? css ? ) Â into the list and fixed. Bubblesort Triskaidekaphobia Posted November 19 Posted November 19 There is a new CSS feature, called light-dark, that will help web developers to avoid this issue in the future. It lets you put both theme attributes together, instead of defining each theme seperately. It looks pretty slick, and it's implemented across all major and minor browsers. There are a bunch of other improvements hitting right now, too. This video gives a good overview of the most important shiny new toys.  1

I'm not seeing the issue in my up-to-date Chrome browser for either the light or dark theme. My other browsers do have the issue however like Edge, Opera and Firefox in default (light) mode and are fixed with the Dark mode.
